Overview
The Wikingertage Schleswig 2025 took place from August 8 to 10 in the Königswiesen city park. For three days, re-enactors from all over Europe presented a living Viking village with crafts, combat demonstrations, Viking ships on the Schlei, and Irish Folk Rock on the festival stage.
The 2025 Wikingertage once again confirmed their reputation as one of Europe's largest Viking festivals. Dozens of camps were set up in the city park, warriors trained and fought in the arena, craftspeople demonstrated their skills, and faithfully reconstructed Viking ships docked on the Schlei. The Irish Folk Rock Festival on the main stage and the children's Viking village attracted families from all over Schleswig-Holstein and beyond.
