In 2025, the pilgrimage year at the Wieskirche ran from May to October with the classic Wednesday rhythm. Over a million visitors came to Steingaden as usual — for the pilgrimage mass, church tour, organ concert, and the Festival of the Tears of Christ on June 14th, 2025.

The 2025 pilgrimage year began on May 1st, 2025, with a festive service. From May to October, pilgrimage masses, church tours, and organ concerts took place on Wednesdays. The highlight was the Festival of the Tears of Christ on Saturday, June 14th, 2025. The UNESCO World Heritage site remains one of the most visited pilgrimage sites in the Alpine region with over a million visitors annually.
