The 135th Westminster Grand Prix of Berlin took place on August 10, 2025, at Hoppegarten, once again drawing thousands of horse racing and flat racing fans to Brandenburg. The Group I race over 2,400 meters confirmed Hoppegarten's status as East Germany's most important racecourse.

The 135th Westminster Grand Prix of Berlin 2025 brought an international field of contenders to Hoppegarten on August 10, 2025. The Group I contest with a €155,000 prize fund attracted 22,000 visitors to the racecourse — a record in recent years.

The day seamlessly continued Hoppegarten's tradition: four top races, the jockey weighing in ice after the Florida Ice Race, and an elegant hat fashion promenade in the grandstand. The race day reaffirmed the racecourse's position as the "best flat race in Germany" — an award Hoppegarten has received four times since 2011. The successes of 2025 lead directly to the 136th anniversary edition in 2026.
