Overview

The 55th Wertheim Old Town Festival took place at the end of July 2025 in the historic old town and confirmed the proven "Festival of Diversity" format. Again, around 60 clubs, groups, and institutions catered to visitors in the medieval half-timbered town on the Main. It was once again one of the highlights in the Wertheim event calendar and one of the most visited town festivals in the Main-Tauber district.

55th Edition — Continuous Success Story

The 2025 edition was once again very successful. Thousands of visitors from Wertheim, the Main-Tauber district, and the wider region (Würzburg, Aschaffenburg, Frankfurt) came to the old town to experience the unique format of the half-timbered backdrop and club diversity.

The city of Wertheim and Market Master Carmen Saalmüller successfully coordinated the approximately 60 stands — a logistical achievement that required enormous effort in the months leading up to it. The result is a town festival that doesn't feel generic but has its own identity: diversity as its core brand, club life as its carrier, and the historic setting as its stage.
