The Wendsche Kärmetze 2025 took place in mid-August in Wenden — a four-day folk festival with a rest day on Monday and a livestock show on family day. Hundreds of thousands of visitors from Südwestfalen and northern Rhineland-Palatinate.
The 2025 edition once again confirmed the Wendsche Kärmetze's position as the largest folk festival in Südwestfalen. Tradition spanning over 250 years, modern showman technology (Predator), and the proven four-day rhythm (Sat, Sun, Mon rest, Tue) characterized the festival weekend.
