In 2025, the Schützenverein Horrido Welver 1828 e.V. also hosted its three-day Schützenfest at the Buchenwaldsaal Welver. As is traditional, assembling, king's shooting, coronation ball, and parade formed the central program points of the summer club season in the district of Soest.

Already in 2025, the Welver Schützenfest tradition drew thousands of visitors to the Buchenwaldsaal. The unbroken series of club activities since 1828 found its climax in the traditional three-day Schützenfest in the 2025 season as well. King's shooting, coronation, and parade followed the proven sequence that connects generations of Welver residents — a Westphalian tradition where club life is the core of village identity.
