At the Weißenburg Old Town Festival 2025 (third weekend in July), the city center once again transformed into a festival mile with beer and wine gardens, stage music, and the Imperial City Marksmen's Guild. The festival confirmed its reputation as one of the social highlights of the year in the former Imperial City.

In 2025, the Weißenburg Old Town Festival once again attracted numerous visitors to the historic old town on the third weekend in July. For three days, beer and wine gardens, street musicians, jugglers, and stage programs characterized the cityscape between Luitpoldstraße, Stadtgraben, and the historic towers. The traditional Imperial City Marksmen's Guild (Reichsstädtische Schützenzeche) with the marksmen's parade and the king's proclamation formed the festive core once again. The free admission made the festival equally attractive for families and out-of-town guests, confirming Weißenburg's status as a vibrant center in the Franconian Lake District.
