41st Weinsberg Weibertreulauf — Edition 2025

The 40th Weinsberg Weibertreulauf 2025 celebrated the fortieth anniversary of an event that has brought together runners from the Heilbronn region and the entire area since 1985. Over 1,000 participants completed the five distances – half marathon, 10 km, 5 km, youth race, and sprint. The course through the still winter-bare vineyards and forests around Weinsberg offered a scenically attractive season opener after winter. The volunteer helpers of TSV Weinsberg ensured the smooth running of the event organization and catering at the Weibertreuhalle. The legend of the "loyal women of Weinsberg" – who carried their husbands out of the besieged castle on their shoulders in 1140 – remains the identity-forming historical background of the race.
