Edition 2025 — Weine vor Freude
The 2025 edition of 'Weine vor Freude' took place, as usual, in June at Rotunde & Gleis 9 in Bochum. The urban wine festival, since its founding in 2013, was once again presented in the urban industrial flair of Bochum's event cluster, featuring wineries from Germany and overseas. This edition laid the groundwork for the expanded premiere in 2026 with over 50 wineries.
2025 Edition at Rotunde Bochum
In 2025, 'Weine vor Freude' once again gathered winemakers and wine lovers for a weekend in the urban industrial flair of the Rotunde on Königsallee. Tastings, workshops, and live music characterized the atmosphere — a festival that has been hosting what is arguably the most relaxed wine fair in the Ruhr area since 2013.
