The 65th Weimar Master Classes 2025 once again brought guest professors from around the world to Weimar. Several weeks of instruction for strings, winds, piano, and composition, complemented by public concerts at the FRANZ LISZT University of Music. The traditional final concert with the Jena Philharmonic Orchestra crowned the academy.
Looking Back at 2025
The 65th season continued the successful model of the Master Classes: top-tier instructors, ambitious participants from over 30 countries, intensive rehearsal work, and a packed concert program in the university's halls. The final concert with the Jena Philharmonic Orchestra brought together the best participants as soloists in front of a sold-out concert hall — a highlight of the Weimar classical summer.
