Advent Wonder 2025
The 2025 WeihnachtsWunder continued the tradition of the one-day charity Christmas market in Filderstadt-Bernhausen. Around the Protestant Jakobus Church, over 40 stalls were set up, where private individuals, families, and small manufacturers from the region offered their handmade gifts — from floristry and jewelry to children's clothing and creative original creations. Food trucks with churros, raclette, crêpes, waffles, and burgers provided culinary variety, while inside the church, the Förderverein served mulled wine and coffee.
The musical program was provided by choirs and brass ensembles from the Protestant church communities, and St. Nicholas visited the children's area. As darkness fell, fire pits, fairy lights, and the illuminated church tower transformed the area into an Advent atmosphere. The entire proceeds, as every year, went to Protestant youth work in the Filder region.
