Overview
The 2025 edition of the Xanten Christmas Market ran from November 21 to December 21 in the old town around the Cathedral. Over 40 wooden chalets, Lower Rhine culinary delights, weekend stage program, Late Night Shopping, and special opening for Totensonntag. Organizer: Interessengemeinschaft Xanten e.V. with the City of Xanten.
As every year, the Christmas market attracted several tens of thousands of visitors from the Lower Rhine, the Ruhr area, and the neighboring Lower Rhine tourism region. The quiet, picturesque old town atmosphere has made Xanten a well-kept secret for years, away from the major markets of Düsseldorf and Cologne.
