Overview
From November 21 to December 22, 2025, the Wernigerode Christmas Market opened on the Market Square, Breite Straße, and Nicolaiplatz. The proven concept with the main market at the town hall, the Lebkuchenwald at Nicolaiplatz, and the Filmhof in the town hall courtyard was implemented again. Highlights included the opening weekend, visits from St. Nicholas, and the Advent evening programme on weekends.

- Opening November 21, 2025, with mulled wine tapping and illumination
- Market Square: 60+ stalls, stage with Advent concerts
- Nicolaiplatz: Lebkuchenwald
- Town Hall Courtyard: Filmhof with "Die Feuerzangenbowle"
- St. Nicholas on December 6
- Weekend performances by regional choirs and brass bands
