In 2025, the Sennestadt clubs once again invited to the annual neighbourhood Christmas market at the Jesus-Christus-Kirche. A volunteer-run Advent market with club stalls, food, and Advent music — an example of the vibrant club scene in southern Bielefeld.

The 2025 edition of the Sennestadt Christmas market continued the annual tradition. The neighbourhood Christmas market in Sennestadt is part of a network of small, volunteer-organised Advent markets held during the Advent season in several Bielefeld districts — a conscious alternative to the large city centre Christmas market on the Old Market Square.

The Sennestadt clubs — heritage society, sports clubs, music and cultural groups, support circles — form the social backbone of the satellite city in southern Bielefeld. Their joint Christmas market strengthens neighbourhood identity and finances the clubs' activities for the coming year with the proceeds.
