Overview

The 2024 edition of the Marzahner Promenade Christmas market ran from 29 November to 1 December 2024. Main market with food stalls, stage and Father Christmas; SchaMottchen Adventsmarkt with Raku show firing and the «Märchentrüffel» play; Gemeindehof Adventsmarkt with Advent service and the mixed Pankow choir. Free admission.

The 2024 edition brought the three sites together into a dense Advent weekend. At the main market, food specialties, Glühwein, Christmas community singing and a visit by Father Christmas provided classic Christmas spirit. At the SchaMottchen Adventsmarkt (1 December, 11 a.m.–6 p.m.), a Raku show firing started at 11 a.m. with live outdoor ceramic firing, followed by Christmas singing and theatre at 2 p.m. and the fairy-tale performance «Märchentrüffel» at 4 p.m. Homemade cakes were on offer at the parish café. The Gemeindehof Adventsmarkt (1 December, 12–6 p.m.) opened with the Advent service at 10 a.m. and closed at 6 p.m. with a concert by the Pankow mixed choir. An additional concert by the Bolshoi Don Cossacks in the village church (3 p.m. and 6 p.m., 7 December) rounded off Advent time on the promenade.
