Overview

The Laer Christmas market 2025 opened the village center as a "Christmas Village in the Village" on the 3rd Advent weekend. Over 50 stalls, a carousel, craft activities, porcelain painting, readings, and a visit from St. Nicholas on Saturday at 4 PM created the family atmosphere that makes the market an insider tip in the Münsterland. On Sunday, Laer's shops and Galerie Lengershaus were open from 1 PM to 6 PM for Sunday shopping — the youth brass band played Christmas music at 3 PM.

The cozy "Village in the Village" concept proved successful again in 2025: instead of a marketplace format, the program was spread throughout the entire village center. Over 50 stalls, a carousel for children, craft activities, porcelain painting, and readings created the family atmosphere. The visit from St. Nicholas on Saturday and the youth brass band on Sunday were emotional highlights. The organizers were again Laer bewegt e.V. and the municipality of Laer.
