Edition 2025 — Klosterhof Christmas Market
The Klosterhof Christmas Market 2025 took place on Saturday, December 6, 2025 — St. Nicholas Day itself — from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the historic Klosterhof Nellingen. Schools, kindergartens, associations, and church communities offered handmade Christmas decorations and gifts, while the music school, the children's choir of Klosterhofschule, and the brass choir of CVJM provided musical accompaniment.
St. Nicholas Day in Klosterhof 2025
The 2025 edition fell on December 6, and thus directly on St. Nicholas Day — making the visit of St. Nicholas with Knecht Ruprecht and an elf particularly authentic. Schools from Nellingen and surrounding districts, kindergartens, the sports club, and the Protestant church community set up stalls; catering was jointly organized by various associations.
Charm of Association Tradition
As every year, the market had its special charm stemming from the association tradition: no professional market operations, but many dedicated stallholders whose proceeds directly benefit the respective school or kindergarten. The 2026 edition follows on Saturday, December 5, 2026.
