Overview
The Eichstätt Advent and Christmas Market 2025 took place, as usual, on the first three Advent weekends in the cathedral city — Friday to Sunday on the Domplatz. With the unique backdrop of the Cathedral and the former St. John's Church, a quality music program, children's activities, and the ice rink on Pater-Philipp-Jeningen-Platz.
The 2025 edition continued the proven concept: three Advent weekends, a compact market on Eichstätt's Domplatz, a high-quality selection of craft stalls and Advent foods.
As in previous years, Advent concerts, brass ensembles, and choirs accompanied the market; the ice rink on Pater-Philipp-Jeningen-Platz opened for families and Eichstätt residents. The combination of the market and ice skating gives the Eichstätt Advent atmosphere its unique character — compact, high-quality, and family-friendly.
