Overview

The Weihnachtsmarkt am Roland 2025 took place from December 5th to 7th, 2025, on the Altstädtischer Markt in Brandenburg an der Havel. Friday 4 PM–9 PM, Saturday 11 AM–9 PM, Sunday 11 AM–8 PM. In front of the Old Town Hall and the stone Roland, craft stalls, a large Christmas tree, a Christmas pyramid, light magic, and a rich children's and stage program attracted thousands of visitors to the historic old town.

The Weihnachtsmarkt am Roland 2025 was celebrated from December 5th to 7th, 2025 — the 2nd Advent weekend — on the Altstädtischer Markt in Brandenburg an der Havel. The organizer, as every year, was the association Erlebnis Altstädtischer Markt Brandenburg an der Havel e.V.

The program followed the proven concept: Regional delicacies from the Mark Brandenburg, crafts at several stalls, light magic on the Gothic brick facades, a central Christmas tree in the square, a Christmas pyramid, and brass chorales, choirs, and Christmas Jazz on the market stage. In the neighboring Old Town Hall and the Fouqué Library, the children's program ran with blacksmithing, storytellers, puppet theater, and an elf workshop. A relaxed, atmospheric Advent event with a clear connection to regional culture.
