Edition 2025 — Weiherer Kerwa
The Weiherer Kerwa 2025 followed the established pattern: Krenfleisch-Kerwa on Thursday, tree raising with brass music on the weekend, Sunday coffee and cake, BBQ delicacies from 5:00 PM, and concluding on Monday with the Rumspielen vom Struhbär. As always, the organizer was the Kerwagemeinschaft Weiher e.V.
The Weiherer Kerwa 2025 took place in the first week of August and followed the traditional program of the village community. The Kerwagemeinschaft Weiher e.V. organized the festival as every year, with catering, live music on the weekend, and the ritual Rumspielen vom Struhbär on Monday as a symbolic conclusion to the Kerwa.
The response in the village and among guests from the surrounding towns of Hollfeld, Aufseß, and Waischenfeld was strong, as in previous years – the Weiherer Kerwa is one of the fixed calendar events in the northern Franconian Switzerland.
