Edition 2025 — Summer Serenades Weiden
The Weiden Summer Serenades 2025 offered a two-month open-air concert series in the Max Reger Park pavilion from mid-June to mid-August 2025. Wednesdays at 7 PM and Sundays at 4 PM, bands, orchestras, and folk music groups performed across all styles – from salon music to Rock'n'Roll and Latin to folk music. Free admission, family-friendly atmosphere, connection to the long tradition since 1953.
Summer Serenades 2025
The 2025 season once again attracted thousands of visitors from Weiden and the entire northern Upper Palatinate to Max Reger Park. The format with two concerts per week between mid-June and mid-August remained the proven backbone of the series.
Stylistic Diversity
The 2025 program ranged from salon music and swing to country and folk, to folk music and Italian hits – a deliberately broad concept that has been successful in the city for over 70 years and connects generations.
