Edition 2025 — Wehlheider Kirmes
The 75th edition of the Wehlheider Kirmes took place from August 15th to 18th, 2025. With the traditional parade on Saturday, August 16th at 3:30 p.m. through Schönfelder Straße to Wehlheider Kreuz, the anniversary edition confirmed the district's strong connection to tradition.
In the 75th anniversary year, the Wehlheider Kirmes was celebrated with special program efforts but remained true to the proven format: parade, election of the Mayor Couple, Lantern Festival, and ecumenical service. The Wehlheiden Fair Association and the district's clubs jointly organized the festival.
Programme
Four days of Kirmes on Georg-Stock-Platz with rides, live music, parade on Saturday, family program on Sunday, and Lantern Festival on Monday evening. Traditional costumes and the Mayor Couple tradition as for decades.
