Overview
In 2025, the beach section between the lighthouse and Hotel Neptun was once again transformed into a winter market mile for the Warnemünder Wintervergnügen. Showmen offered culinary specialties and hot drinks, while a varied music program accompanied the festival days.
As every year, the highlight was the ice swimming carnival (Eisbadefasching) of the Rostocker Seehunde, who plunged into the ice-cold Baltic Sea in colorful costumes. Beach bonfires, torchlight hikes, and a family program rounded off the winter festival, confirming the Wintervergnügen as a popular attraction during the cold season in the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern region.
