Wangener Weihnachtsmarkt — Edition 2025

At the Wangener Weihnachtsmarkt 2025, numerous exhibitors opened their stalls in the medieval old town on the four Advent Saturdays. Craftsmen and artists from the Allgäu region displayed wood carvings, nativity figures, and hand-knitted textiles, while confectioners and bakers offered gingerbread, stollen, and pralines. Allgäu cheese, sausage specialties, and sweet delicacies were found in the cobblestone streets, and mulled wine and punch provided warmth at the stalls. The concept of changing exhibitors – different vendors each market day – ensured that many visitors came multiple times, experiencing a continuously evolving market atmosphere throughout Advent. The medieval half-timbered backdrop with its crenellated city gates once again made the market one of the most beautiful Advent markets in Southern Germany.
