Overview

The 2nd edition of the Wandsbek District Festival took place in August 2025 at Wandsbeker Marktplatz, establishing the young format as a regular summer event for the Wandsbek district. Live music, international street food stalls, children's program with Stadtinsel e.V., over 20 supporting partners. Free admission.

The second edition in 2025 confirmed the positive impression of the 2024 premiere and established the format as a district event. Organizer City Wandsbek e.V. was able to expand its partner network and add more street food stalls and workshops to the program.

In the 2025 Hamburg district festival calendar, the Wandsbek District Festival stood out as one of the most vibrant new events. It filled a long-standing gap in the Wandsbek district: a central summer weekend with a festival character in the Marktplatz quarter.
