Walpurgisnacht at the Old Castle Penzlin also took place on April 30, 2025. A witch procession, Walpurgis bonfire, circle dances, and fire show transformed the historic castle grounds into a stage for music, dance, and witchery.

Review: Walpurgisnacht Penzlin 2025

On April 30, 2025, Penzlin celebrated Walpurgisnacht at the Old Castle. As every year, witches gathered at the Hexenbrunnen (Witches' Fountain) in Große Straße and proceeded in a mystical procession up to the castle.

On the castle grounds, guests were treated to a program of music, dance, and witchery. The large Walpurgis bonfire, circle dances, and a fire show characterized the evening, along with the popular election of the most beautiful witches. The festival, supported by the town of Penzlin, the Friends of the Old Castle Association, and the Cocolorus Budenzauber traveling theater, once again confirmed the special atmosphere of the Penzlin Walpurgisnacht.
