Interim Year 2025 – On the Way to Wallenstein 2026

As the Wallenstein Festival Week takes place every four years, 2025 was an interim year. The last main festival year was 2022, and the next edition was scheduled for 2026. During this preparatory year, the Fischertagsverein Memmingen coordinated the extensive programme of activities: costume workshops within the historical groups, horse training for the equestrian games, choreography rehearsals for dance and acrobatic performances, and organisational clarifications with the city and tourism authorities.

Visibility in City Life

During various events in Memmingen's city life (Fishermen's Day, City Festival, local events), individual historical groups made introductory appearances to prepare the city in 2025 for the major Wallenstein year of 2026. Promotion and programme announcements intensified from late autumn 2025 – the official programme brochure was published in January 2026.
