Edition 2025 — Walking in Beauty

The second edition of Walking in Beauty took place in spring 2025, establishing the young Berlin choral festival around the Kulturforum. As in 2024, workshop days, international guest choirs, and closing concerts were the focus, with venues ranging from St. Matthäus Church to the Chamber Music Hall of the Philharmonie. The festival continued to build its reputation as a hub for contemporary sacred choral music in Berlin.

In 2025, Walking in Beauty was held for the second time in Berlin. CHORALSPACE continued the format launched in 2024: a weekend with workshops, an international festival choir, and public concerts at the Kulturforum. Detailed program information for the 2025 edition is no longer fully documented on the current festival website – the organizers are focusing their communication on the upcoming 2026 edition.

The concept remained stable: contemporary choral literature, international guest choirs, the close connection between church space and concert hall, and a public concert evening that also made the festival accessible to a non-singing audience. The second edition laid the foundation for the third edition, “Voices Unite” with Bob Chilcott, following in April 2026.
