In 2025, the Walkarts Fest was again hosted by the Heimat- und Trachtenverein D' Allgäuer Waltenhofen e.V. in early August. Over three days, the festival offered a typical Allgäu programme: an opening ceremony with the Böllerschützen Waldhäusle, an entertainment evening with brass music, a festival service as a field mass, and a theatre evening to conclude. Traditional costumes, brass music, and customs were at the heart of the event. The festival once again underscored the commitment of the association, founded in 1920, to the regional culture in the Oberallgäu district, Bavaria.
