Overview

In 2025, the Waldsassen Christmas Market also took place on the first Advent weekend. Around 40 exhibitors offered crafts and culinary delights in Kunstgasse and the Neue Gärten park. Highlights included nativity scenes, a model railway, city tours, musical performances, children's readings, and visits from St. Nicholas and the Grölldeifl.

The 2025 Waldsassen Christmas Market continued the tradition: on the first Advent weekend, the town next to the Collegiate Basilica transformed into an atmospheric Advent market with around 40 stalls full of crafts and culinary specialties.

Popular attractions included nativity scene exhibitions, a model railway, city tours, musical performances, and children's readings. Traditional highlights were the visits from St. Nicholas and the Grölldeifl. The market once again confirmed its status as an Advent meeting point in the Stiftland.
