Edition 2025 — Waldfest Motten
The Waldfest Motten 2025 took place from July 12 to 14 at the Kohlheppe festival grounds. Three days of brass music from the Rhön, Frühschoppen on Sunday, and Franconian festival cuisine attracted numerous visitors from the Bad Kissingen district and the adjacent Hessian Rhön.
In 2025, the Waldfest Motten already attracted visitors with three days of summer atmosphere at the Kohlheppe festival grounds. The Musikverein „Döllautaler« Motten had invited friendly brass bands from Lower Franconia and the Hessian Rhön to perform; the Sunday Frühschoppen with Weißwurst and festival beer traditionally marked the convivial highlight. Despite changeable Rhön weather, covered areas ensured uninterrupted festival operations, and the family program attracted many guests from the neighboring communities of Burkardroth, Oberbach, and Wildflecken.
