Overview

The Wald Stadt Weihnacht 2025 attracted numerous visitors to Alter Rathausplatz. From the market's opening day in November to the ecumenical service on Christmas Eve, live music, the children's carousel, and the warmly lit fir panorama shaped Iserlohn's city centre Advent.

The 2025 season confirmed Wald Stadt Weihnacht as Iserlohn's central Advent event. Mayor Michael Joithe opened the market, the St. Nicholas visit, the joint fir tree decorating with communal singing, and the ecumenical open-air service on Christmas Eve drew thousands of locals and guests. The concept of an inner-city Christmas market with a neighbourhood festival feel has definitively established itself.

Programme

Five-week Advent market with stage program Fri/Sat, carousel, St. Nicholas visit, and ecumenical service on Christmas Eve. Special hours Dec 23rd until 11 PM, Dec 24th until 4 PM.
