Walburgismarkt Waldsassen

In 2025, the Walburgismarkt again opened its stalls from 8 a.m. on Johannisplatz. Market vendors offered sweets, flowers, fish specialties, basketry, and clothing; the shops in the city center opened at 1 p.m. as part of the Sunday with open shops.

The market once again fit into the traditional four-market rhythm of the city of Waldsassen: Josefimarkt in March, Walburgismarkt in May, Autumn/Harvest Market in September, and Maximilianmarkt in October.
