Overview

The 2025 Volksfest ran from August 21st to 25th, 2025, with the classic five-day format: Schäfflertanz and beer tapping on Thursday, Youth Night on Friday, festival tent evenings with live bands, fireworks on festival Sunday, and the Day of Volunteers on the closing Monday.

The 2025 edition opened on Thursday, August 21st, 2025, at 5:30 PM with the Schäfflertanz, followed by the beer tapping by the mayor in the festival tent. Over five festival days, several thousand visitors came to the Volksfest grounds on Velburger Straße.

Highlights included the festival tent entertainment with classic brass music and party bands, the open Sunday shopping in the town center on August 24th (1:00 PM–6:00 PM), the fireworks display on Sunday evening, and the Day of Volunteers on Monday with discounted rates for clubs and fire departments. As always, organic festival beer from Neumarkter Lammsbräu was served.

Price per liter (Maß) of Lammsbräu festival beer in 2025: approx. €11 per liter. Seat reservations directly with festival host Werner Semmler. Admission to the festival grounds is free.
