Overview

The Volksfest Eichstätt 2025 took place as usual between late August and early September on the Eichstätt festival grounds. Ten days of beer tent program with brass music, party and cover bands, modern amusement rides, Bavarian and Franconian delicacies, festival beer, and Franconian wine. Proven program points: Bauernerchta, Family Day with children's parade, Sports Sunday with boxing matches and folk festival run, Day of the Clubs, and the grand parade.

Volksfest Eichstätt 2025

The 2025 edition continued the proven festival concept: ten days of Bavarian Wiesn in the Altmühltal with a beer tent, amusement rides, and regionally typical festival programming. With mild late summer weather, thousands of guests from Eichstätt, the district, and the neighboring municipalities of Lenting, Böhmfeld, Wettstetten, Großmehring, and Denkendorf once again came to the festival grounds.

Proven Highlights

Sports Sunday with a half marathon and boxing in the beer tent, Bauernerchta, Family Day with a children's parade, and the grand parade with traditional costume groups, brass bands, and floats once again formed the structural highlights of the festival.
