Marksmen's Festival 2025

For three days, the Kuhdrift festival grounds in Linau were dedicated to the folk and marksmen's festival. On Saturday, 12th July 2025, a dance evening from 9:00 PM (admission 10 €) opened the festivities. On Sunday, 13th July 2025, the traditional parade through the village followed at 2:00 PM — with marksmen in uniform, music bands, and clubs from the surrounding area. The concluding event was the king's ball on Monday, 14th July 2025, from 8:00 PM with free admission.

As every year, the festival brought the village community and visitors from the surrounding municipalities of Sandesneben, Schwarzenbek, and southern Stormarn to the Kuhdrift festival grounds. The Linau and surrounding area marksmen's club and the Linau volunteer fire brigade continue the tradition in 2026 with the king's reception on July 11th and the parade on July 12th.
