The Volks- und Heimatfest Dorthausen 2025 once again brought four days of neighbourhood atmosphere to the Ballsportwiese on Christophorusstraße. A shooting competition, parade, senior citizens' afternoon, and Klompenball made it the summer highlight in the small Mönchengladbach district.

The 2025 edition confirmed the successful format: a four-day festival, jointly supported by the sports club and the shooting brotherhood — a prime example of the club landscape in small districts, where multiple clubs pool their resources for shared highlights.
