Overview
The Vogelschießen in Jersbek 2025 continued the centuries-old tradition of North German Schützenfeste. A Sunday in May brought the village community together for the king's proclamation and a convivial conclusion — typical for the association landscape of Stormarn.
In May 2025, the traditional Vogelschießen took place again in Jersbek. The shooting guild invited for the assembly, the shooting competition for the wooden bird proceeded as usual, and in the evening, the new king was honoured with a King's Ball and dancing. An event that shows how vibrantly the small Stormarn communities maintain their traditions.
