Edition 2025 — Vogelgilde Bergenhusen
In 2025, the Vogelgilde Bergenhusen also held its traditional Gildefest. The festival followed the sequence developed over generations: collection of the triumvirate on the eve, festival parade with the fire brigade band, king's shoot at the wooden bird, ladies' pistol competition, and the concluding Guild Ball.
The 2025 edition followed the established format. A new king was shot for the guild with its approximately 36 members, and simultaneously, a new ladies' queen was crowned. The Guild Ball at the village inn combined tradition and socializing. With the 2025 edition, the almost unbroken tradition since 1655 continued — few clubs in Schleswig-Holstein can look back on 370 years of preserving customs.
