Edition 2025 — Völklinger Osterkirmes
Around Easter 2025, the Osterkirmes once again attracted tens of thousands of visitors to Völklingen city centre. Over 30 rides, the Easter Market, and the traditional Spring Market to conclude confirmed its status as one of Saarland's largest spring folk festivals.
The concept of amusement rides across several squares, Family Day, Easter Market, and Sunday shopping with the Spring Market also characterised the festival week in 2025. The draft beer tapping by the mayor, Family Day, and the concluding Spring Market on the last Sunday were the most visited programme points.
Programme
The 2025 programme followed the established nine-day schedule: Opening with draft beer tapping, Easter Sunday, Easter Market in the middle of the festival week, Family Day with discounts, and Sunday shopping with the Spring Market to conclude.
