Overview
The 2025 edition of the Vlotho Wine Festival continued the successful format. Winemakers from German wine regions and Wine Merchant Schmidt filled Sommerfelder Platz; the Westfalen-Blatt reported on the great atmosphere and the concept's continuation.
In 2025, wine lovers from Vlotho, Bad Oeynhausen, Herford, and the Weser bend flocked to Sommerfelder Platz once again. The winemakers' stalls offered a wide selection of Rieslings, Burgundies, and Rosé wines; the tarte flambée stands were as popular as ever. The event further established itself as the successor to the old Vlotho city festival.
