Overview

Viva la musica 2025, under the theme "Music of the Night", featured the Szczecin Philharmonic conducted by their chief conductor Przemyslaw Neumann in the arena of the Gardens of the World on September 6. The program included Tchaikovsky's "Swan Lake", Mendelssohn-Bartholdy's "A Midsummer Night's Dream", and Strauss's "Die Fledermaus", rounded off by the traditional fireworks finale.

The 2025 edition, with "Music of the Night", focused on the favorite crossover of the classical open-air audience: well-known symphonic pieces from ballet, incidental music, and operetta, followed by the pyrotechnic conclusion. The Szczecin Philharmonic, conducted by Przemyslaw Neumann, performed the orchestral part and presented the program in the arena starting at 7:00 PM. The fireworks concluded the evening around 9:30 PM.

As in previous years, the 2025 edition attracted an audience from all over Berlin and Brandenburg, and the event is considered a reliable end to summer in the Marzahn-Hellersdorf district. As usual, the admission price included access to the entire park, allowing many visitors to explore the themed gardens in the afternoon.
