Edition 2025 — Vilshofen Volksfest
The Traditional Vilshofen Volksfest 2025 took place, as is traditional, in late August on the racecourse grounds. Six festival days featured the Wolferstetter beer tent, the wheat beer tent, the Fuchsbau, an amusement park, a grand parade on Sunday, and a firework finale on the last day. Admission is free.

The 2025 edition continued the tradition upheld since 1861: six days of Danube folk festival with a beer tent, parade, fireworks, and a program that symbolically carries forward the historical Schiffersturmtag of the Vilshofen Danube boatmen in a modern form.
Danube Folk Festival with Tradition
With modernized infrastructure since 2019 (enlarged beer gardens, wider paths, better sanitary facilities), the festival offers comfortable conditions for the approximately one hundred thousand visitors who attend annually.
