Villinger Frühjahrsmesse — Edition 2025

At the Villinger Frühjahrsmesse 2025, over 150 showmen and market traders from all over Germany set up their stalls in the cobblestone streets of the historic old town. The market area stretched from the Riet Gate through Niedere and Obere Straße to Münsterplatz, filled with the scent of freshly roasted almonds. Italian delicacies on Niedere Straße, toy stands on Bickenstraße, household goods on Obere Straße, and carousels for the little ones made the market a family experience. The city center shops had extended opening hours, and restaurants set up their tables in the pedestrian zone – Villingen once again brought its centuries-old market tradition, with roots dating back to 999, vibrantly to life.
