Overview

The 2025 Viertel Meile Design Markt brought together local artists and designers on Spielbudenplatz. Curated stalls with jewelry, fashion, illustrations, and home accessories, a children's area, and a concluding jazz concert characterized the Sunday – a curated answer to the question of design quality in the middle of a typical Hamburg entertainment mile.

2025 Review

In 2025, spielbudenplatz.eu once again established the format: one day, several dozen curated stalls, container bars and food trucks, a children's area, and a concluding live concert. Spielbudenplatz became the stage for handmade jewelry, upcycled fashion, illustrations, and small manufactories from Hamburg and the surrounding area.

The St. Pauli district in the Hamburg-Mitte borough has, in recent years, developed a growing design and art scene alongside its typical Reeperbahn identity – the Viertel Meile Design Markt leverages this development for a deliberately curated format.
