Overview
In 2025, the Vegesacker Pappbootregatta once again saw self-built boats made of paper and newspaper compete in exciting races at the Vegesack Museumshaven. Maritime flair, music, and culinary delights made the race a convivial family festival, complemented by the Maritime Mile on the following day.
The 2025 edition followed the proven concept: companies, youth groups, circles of friends, and brave individual starters sent their self-built paper boats onto the water of the historic Museumshaven. Starts were made in the categories of creativity and speed, accompanied by maritime flair, music, and culinary offerings. On the following day, the Maritime Mile along the Weser promenade invited guests to breakfast, guided tours, art, and gastronomy.
