Overview
The 9th Vegesacker Bällerennen rolled down Reeder-Bischoff-Straße starting at 12 PM on June 28, 2025. This year again, 5000 colorful balls plunged into the race, each linked to a raffle ticket. The proceeds from the 2025 edition benefited the Stoppelhopser, an institution from Bremen's north.
As every year since 2015, the Lions Club Lesmona e.V. organized the spectacle. The raffle tickets were available for two euros each in many Vegesack shops, with unlimited purchases per person. The collected proceeds from the 2025 edition went to the Stoppelhopser, thus supporting local charitable work.
