Overview
The 2025 edition of the Usedom Music Festival focused on Poland as the guest country, underscoring the German-Polish character of the island of Usedom. For three weeks, over 700 artists gathered in the churches, castles, and concert halls of the sunny island.
The 2025 edition featured Poland as the guest country – an artistic bridge between the two halves of the island, German Usedom and Polish Uznam. The program included the world-famous music cabaret MozART Group, the acclaimed Polish pianist Rafał Blechacz, the NDR Big Band, the NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchestra, and the multi-award-winning countertenor Jakub Józef Orliński with the baroque ensemble Il Pomo d'Oro.
Venues once again included the machine hall of Peenemünde, the water castle of Mellenthin, the brick churches of Liepe and Krummin, and the concert halls in Heringsdorf and Ahlbeck. In 2025, the festival reaffirmed its reputation as the largest thematic classical music festival in the Baltic Sea region.
