Overview
In 2025, Ursensollen once again celebrated its Vituskirwa according to old customs. The Kirwa couples guarded the Kirwabaum on the night before Sunday, danced it out in new costumes on Kirchweih Sunday, and attended the festive church service. On Kirwamontag, the Kirwabär paraded through the town with the couples. The whole village was geared up for three days of celebration – supported by the Kirwagemeinschaft as well as the fire brigade, veterans, and reservists, with great spirits and high participation from the local population.
