Overview

At the last Ursberg Summer Festival in 2024, the Dominikus Ringeisen Werk opened Josefsplatz and the monastery complex for guests from all over the Mindelheim-Land region on a July weekend. Two days of music, Swabian catering, stalls from the DRW workshops, and encounters characterized the inclusion festival, which took place outdoors without a marquee and with accessible access.

The Ursberg Summer Festival 2024 continued the event's biennial rhythm. On Josefsplatz and in the courtyards of the monastery complex, DRW bands, choirs, and dance groups presented their programs together with guests from the region. Stalls from the in-house workshops displayed wood, ceramic, and garden products; at the catering stands, there were Swabian specialties and homemade cakes from the DRW kitchens. The festive service on Sunday morning in the monastery church formed the spiritual focus of the second day of the festival. With accessible paths and quiet zones, the summer festival maintained its character as a major inclusion festival of the Bavarian-Swabian social welfare provider.
